Do Your Own Research – Be Smart with Your Hard-Earned Dollars

To my clients, friends, and family: I care deeply about your health, wellness, and the choices you make. In today’s internet marketing world, it’s easy to get caught up in promises that sound too good to be true.

Lately, I've seen a surge in claims around certain supplements that supposedly "convert body fat to energy" with specific promises like “65% total fat loss from the trunk area.” Let me be clear—these claims are highly misleading.

While certain ingredients like caffeine, green tea extract, or L-carnitine may slightly boost metabolism, helping with overall weight loss, no supplement alone will burn fat from specific areas like the trunk. Our bodies simply don’t work that way; fat loss depends on genetics, hormones, and overall lifestyle—not a magic pill.

Remember: Sustainable health goals are achieved through a holistic approach—a mix of a balanced diet, regular exercise, and realistic supplements (if needed). When claims sound extreme or target a specific area, take a step back and do the research. YOU CANNOT SPOT REDUCE FAT unless you do surgery.

note: You cannot spot-reduce fat through exercise, diet, or supplements—fat loss occurs gradually across the whole body based on genetics, hormones, and individual body composition. When we lose fat, it’s pulled from fat cells throughout the body, rather than from a specific area, meaning you can’t choose where your body loses fat first.

Targeted exercises can strengthen and build muscle in certain areas, which can create a more toned appearance, but actual fat reduction in one specific spot is only possible through procedures like liposuction or other surgical methods.
